Police are investigating a car bomb that targeted a police car in Sydney’s west last night.
Police say the vehicle was targeted in a targeted attack, but the driver has not yet been located.
Police have not yet confirmed a motive for the attack.
“We are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the vehicle which was targeted and the person who is responsible,” Assistant Commissioner Andy Keates said.
“Police are urging anyone who sees a suspicious vehicle in the area to contact police.”
Police have asked anyone with information about the car bombing to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
