SANTA CLARA, Calif.
— Oakland Raiders owner Mark Davis said Thursday he would not be working on any new building inspections office at the team’s new stadium, but said he expects the work to continue as long as necessary.
“There are lots of things that I expect to continue to do,” Davis said during an interview at the Raiders’ facility.
“We are a big-league team, we have an ownership group that is committed to winning.
I think there are things that we can do that will be beneficial to our fans, the city and the Raiders.”
Davis has said the team has not made any decisions about the future of its stadium, which opened in 2019.
Raiders officials have said that the team would look at new stadium locations but did not rule out an entirely new facility.
