The world’s biggest office is being built in Delhi.
But it’s not going to be easy for locals.
As we reported last month, the world’s second-largest city is on the verge of a massive housing shortage.
And that is the key to the world-class office buildings that will form the backbone of the Indian economy, said S. Ramasamy, managing director of real estate consultancy firm S.A.K.S. and a former head of the Central Board of Direct Taxes.
“There is a shortage of space in the city and the lack of land for the office buildings will cause a serious dent in the growth of the city’s economic output,” he said.
“The real estate market in Delhi is very competitive and people are willing to pay high prices for real estate.”
The government is building more than 3,000 residential units per year for the first time in the capital.
The first phase of this project was announced in November 2016.
Construction on the 2,000-hectare (1,700-acre) complex, called Stratton Office Building, started in January 2017.
It will be the largest office complex in the country and will include nearly 1,400 residential units.
Construction will begin in the next three months.
In addition to housing, Stratton will include offices for government departments and other sectors.
A massive parking lot will be constructed across the road from the office.
Apartments will be available for a maximum of 2,500 people.
The total area of the office complex is about 1.8 million sq ft (8,000 sq m).
The first four floors will include a three-storey building, while the fifth floor will house offices for other departments and the government.
The office is expected to be completed by 2019.
Construction of the building will take a minimum of 15 years.
About 1,200 government employees will live there.
The building is being developed by two government-owned companies, the Bharatiya Mahila Andolan, a joint venture between the government and Reliance Group, and the Ministry of Finance.
The project is expected help the government meet its ambitious housing goals of providing 2,400 homes for all citizens of India by 2023.
“In a city like Delhi where there are a lot of issues and problems that have not been addressed, there is a lot to be gained from this development,” said M.R. Narasimhan, the chairman of Reliance.
“We are happy to see this project in the eyes of the citizens.”
The building’s design will be inspired by the iconic building in London, designed by Sir John Knox, which houses a number of British offices.
The Stratton office will have a glass-fronted structure that will allow it to be viewed from different directions, while also providing a window into the office’s interior.
The buildings will be connected by a series of underground corridors and can be viewed by walking from the top floor to the bottom.
The plan is for the building to be built in phases and completed by 2022.
In the near future, a 1,500-hec area will be developed to house office space for the central government, the finance ministry, the Delhi Police, the Central Reserve Bank of India, and other government departments.
This area will also house a hotel, apartments for the public and for private parties, and offices for the Reserve Bank and the central bank.
The government has allocated nearly Rs. 50,000 crore for the project.
It is also planning to build an extension of the project in two phases.
This would be the second phase of construction.
The third phase will be completed in 2022.
